The town of Westhoughton is situated some 6 km south of Bolton and 8 km west of Wigan. The greyhound track in the town was based on Marsh Brook Fold off Wigan Road on the outskirts of Bolton, Lancashire and situated at 2° 33' W 53° 32' N. The track had a circumference of 375 yards and held sprints over 285 yards, standard races over 470 yards and distance races over 660 yards. |

| It operated as an independent flapping track throughout its history. After a great deal of local controversy the track closed its gates for the final time in 2012. |
